AI MARKETER / HONG KONG

Louie Lui

Head of Performance Marketing at Prenetics, home of IM8 by David Beckham and CircleDNA.

draft me a bio. keep it honest.
I trained as an accountant and ended up in advertising. One habit survived: I don't trust a number until I know where it came from.

The route here
OPPO Singapore
Digital marketing for one of the world's biggest smartphone makers, in one of its most saturated markets.
Hmlet
Customer acquisition across APAC for a Sequoia-backed co-living platform. Selling a physical product with finite inventory is a different sport.
Axi
Global performance marketing for an online trading platform.
PHS Hairscience
Ran the whole marketing function. Revenue up 37% year over year, cost per lead halved.
Eucalyptus Japan
Later acquired by Hims & Hers. Built the GLP-1 growth engine from near zero. 18x monthly conversions in six months.
Now: Prenetics (NASDAQ: PRE), running performance across IM8 and CircleDNA. In July 2026, General Catalyst committed $1,000,000,000 to fund IM8's growth. The budget that facility finances is the one I'm responsible for deploying.

The first interview round was a blind test against an AI. The challenge is public on GitHub.

cat operating-principles.txt 1: LTV to CAC over ROAS. Cohorts over screenshots. 2: Fundamentals over hacks. Ads don't fix bad thinking, they just make it more expensive. 3: AI agents belong in the workflow. They do the heavy lifting. I check their work. status: trying to automate my own job since 2022. still here.

A robot drafts half my work these days. I read every word like it's trying to get me fired.

Ask the robot
what does he actually do?

Runs performance marketing for IM8 by David Beckham and CircleDNA at Prenetics. Spends the budgets, argues with the dashboards, and reads everything I draft line by line. Which I personally find insulting.

ROAS or LTV?

Ask him this in person and clear your afternoon. Short version: LTV to CAC decides budgets. ROAS decides screenshots.

can I pitch him something?

You can. Everyone does. Full honesty: the cold ones get a polite no almost every time. A warm intro changes your odds completely. And before you ask: there is no phone number. We removed it.

is he any good?

A one billion dollar growth facility now finances the budget he deploys, and he beat me in a blind test once. I want a rematch.

Canned answers, drafted by the robot, reviewed by the human. Obviously.
